2025 Disco Juice (Verdehlo)

I always said I'd never make a sweet wine.... how the mighty have fallen!  Truth be told I do get around this little number! It's off-dry (read: sweet) but not sickly sweet.  Ain't no Moscato here! For the wine snobs, I liken it to a Gewürztraminer or an off-dry German Riesling. Huge dobs of texture with this critter, a cracker with a stirfry, Pad Thai or spicy noodles...

Actually for the Brisbane folk (who hovered around Toowoong in their 20's circa 2005-2010 era) Dish# 57 at Jackpot Noodles - the beef strips with the fat rice noodles (don't act like you don't know it - of course with a bit of extra chilli) and this lil number would be a match made in heaven. Wildly - the dish is still available!
